We’re recapping a fun Spring event on this #ThrowbackThursday! On April 16, the barn at Homestead Manor was filled with music, laughter, food, drink and philanthropy as the Craftmasters series returned for its second year. Featuring quality spirits from H. Clark Distillery, a three-course, chef curated meal and entertainment by local singer-songwriters, the sold-out event served to raise funds for local organization High Hopes Development Center.
Intimate performances by Matt Marinchick, Taylor Dukes, Tessa Victoria and “American Idol” and “The Voice” alum, Priscilla Barker, created a beautiful atmosphere for the evening as guests were treated to specially crafted bites sourced from Homestead Manor’s onsite farm and beverages from H. Clark Distillery, which is located less than a mile from the historic property at which the event was held.
In addition to its focus on food, drinks, and live music, the event provided guests an opportunity to give back directly to their own community. All proceeds went to our friends at High Hopes Development Center. The Williamson County-based nonprofit organization works to provide education and therapy to children and young people with special needs.
April’s Craftmasters event brought everything local under one roof for the support of a great cause, and we are looking forward to spotlighting other deserving local breweries, distilleries, and nonprofits in the future!
