We’re is kicking off a monthly series for those looking to build creative skill sets and strengthen their career paths through personal improvement!
Held the last Tuesday of each month, the Lunch & Learn Something events will put a fun spin on the normal “networking lunches” by tapping into the creative side of professional development. Topics will include personal branding techniques — such as dressing for the job you want, writing a killer blog post, and best etiquette when selling yourself. The Homestead team promises lively sessions that veer away from those traditional talks (yawn)!
To commence the series on October 27th, Homestead is pulling in Courtenay Rogers–co-founder of Girls to the Moon and president of the Nashville Chapter of the American Marketing Association (NAMA) — to speak to “Social Media and Your Digital Footprint,” where she’ll discuss the importance of defining and protecting your online presence for social media users of all levels. Guests will leave with simple tips on creating a professional footprint, as well as ways to digitally manage a personal brand.
Join Homestead’s newest opportunity to connect with industry experts, who will share tales and tips and an opportunity to participate in creative discussions with forward-thinking professionals. Plus who can pass up those amazing Homestead lunches (which is included in the price!)?
