If you are looking for a sophisticated setting for your Valentine’s date night, look no further than Harvest at Homestead Manor. The atmosphere of this historic antebellum home exudes romance and elegance. You and your significant other can choose from an exclusive chef-curated four-course menu to celebrate the special holiday. Limited selections from the menu will also be offered the weekend prior to the holiday, from from Friday, Feb. 10 until Sunday, Feb. 12.
For $75 per person on Tuesday, Feb. 14, guests will enjoy a delicious meal, consisting of locally sourced ingredients, beginning with an appetizer of gin, lime and pepper marinated Capital oysters, followed by the choice of the Harvest garden salad, salad Lyonnaise or Carolina she-crab soup.
The entrée choices include a seaweed blackened filet served with smoked Gouda mashed potatoes and an Oscar Béarnaise sauce; seared black cod with charred cauliflower and brussels, cherry tomato and white wine beurre blanc; or chicken roulade — sourced from Katharos Farm — stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes and wrapped in Katharos Farm bacon, served with sunflower and goat cheese risotto.
The meal will conclude with a dessert of deconstructed red velvet cake with chocolate ganache and cream cheese ice cream from Hattie Jane’s Creamery, Harvest’s sister concept in Columbia, Tenn.
