Homestead Manor is a true labor of love in many ways. Marcia Franks was contemplating on what to do with the second half of her life when she ventured into a tea room in Destin, Florida six years ago. She instantly recognized that the fine art of tea was her destiny.

Marcia began studying tea, the etiquette of taking tea, the growing and cultivating of tea, and the health benefits of drinking a simple cup of tea. Her studies took her to seminars at The Magnolia and Ivy School and the Elmwood Inn. She attends The World Tea Expo and holds an international tea designation from the Specialty Tea Institute.

As part of her discovery and learning process, Marcia has visited tea rooms around the world. She is now blessed to be living her dream at Homestead Manor, where she works daily with her daughters, Tonya and Bryana, co-proprietors in this wonderful venture.
